These Terms of Service govern your use of KoiMeet at koimeet.com. Please read them carefully.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using KoiMeet you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who can join
• You must be at least 18 years old. Using KoiMeet while under 18 is not allowed.
• You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and not be barred from using the service under the law where you live.
• You must not have been previously removed from KoiMeet for breaking our rules.
• You may have only one account.
3. Your account
Provide accurate information and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away at the support address below if you think someone else is using it.
4. How you must behave
KoiMeet is for respectful, consensual connections. You agree that you will not:
• Pretend to be someone else or use photos or details that are not yours.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, shame or discriminate against anyone.
• Post nudity, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, hate content, or anything involving minors.
• Ask other members for money, promote scams, send spam, or advertise products or services.
• Share another person’s private information or images without their consent.
• Use KoiMeet for anything illegal, or to recruit, solicit or exploit others.
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools, or try to break or bypass the security of the service.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post. You give us a limited licence to host, display and deliver that content for the purpose of running the service, for as long as your account exists.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. Photos are reviewed before they appear publicly, and we may remove any content that breaks these Terms.
6. Verification
You may choose to verify your profile with a selfie. A verified badge means our team found your selfie consistent with your profile photos at the time of review. It is not a background check and is not a guarantee about who a person is or how they will behave.
7. Staying safe
We work to make KoiMeet safe, but we cannot control what members do and we cannot guarantee anyone’s identity or intentions. Use good judgement when meeting people:
• Never send money or share financial details with someone you have met on the app.
• Meet first in a public place and tell a friend where you are going.
• Report anyone who makes you feel unsafe using the report button, and block them.
• In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
8. Reporting and enforcement
You can report or block any member at any time. We may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently remove accounts, and remove content, if we believe these Terms have been broken or to protect members. Where appropriate, we may also report serious violations to the authorities.
9. Cost
KoiMeet is currently free to join. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will tell you clearly before you are charged and you will always be able to decline them.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends, including those about content, safety, disclaimers and liability, will continue to apply.
11. The service is provided “as is”
We provide KoiMeet on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you will find a match or relationship. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the actions of members, either online or in person.
12. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KoiMeet and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If we make important changes we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use KoiMeet after the changes take effect means you accept them.
